Ceramics Studio

The Grand Marais Art Colony invites printmaking artists to apply for two concurrent residencies—Printmaking Community Residency and Printmaking Teaching Residency—running from September 28 to October 10, 2026. Each residency provides access to the colony’s eco‑friendly printmaking studio, free lodging for artists from outside the area, and a $2,500 stipend to support the creation of new work. Applications are accepted through the colony’s SlideRoom platform and require a $5 submission fee. The program is open to artists working in printmaking, with no explicit age or nationality restrictions. The residency offers a supportive environment for experimentation and community engagement, including opportunities to lead printmaking workshops for local youth.
