CICA Museum (Czong Institute for Contemporary Art) announces an open call for artists worldwide to participate in “Photography Now 2027,” an international exhibition exploring the role of photography as representation, medium, expression and communication. The call welcomes traditional, digital, experimental, image‑manipulated and AI‑generated photographic works. Selected digital pieces will be printed on A3 foam board and installed by museum curators; alternative sizes and framing are possible upon request, with possible extra fees. Physical works must be shipped by the artist, who bears all shipping costs, and should not exceed 1 m on the longest side (or 1 × 1 × 2 m for installations) and 10 kg for wall‑mounted pieces. The exhibition will be held from 7 to 25 April 2027. Artists may submit up to three video links and five JPG images (100‑500 KB) together with a short bio via email to submission@cicamuseum.com, using the subject line “Submission: Photography Now 2027 – Artist’s Name.” No application fee is required, but selected artists must contribute $78 USD (or 110,000 KRW) per work to cover processing and maintenance. The call is open to all photographers regardless of age, nationality or career stage.
