The Arts and Culture – Quick Response Grant is a government‑backed funding program that provides up to $1,000 per financial year to individual artists and arts workers in Australia. It is designed to help recipients seize unexpected professional opportunities that arise on short notice, such as invitations to exhibit, attend conferences, participate in showcases or present new work. Eligible expenses include travel, freight, materials and participation costs. Applicants living in very remote areas may receive an additional $500 for travel. The grant is open to all artists and arts workers regardless of discipline or career stage. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with a deadline of 31 August 2026. The application process is free of charge. The program is administered by Creative Australia and the Regional Arts Fund.
