Ein Kopf-an-Kopf-Rennen

A Show of Heads is an annual competition presented by SlowArt Productions and hosted at the Limner Gallery in Hudson, NY. The call invites artists of all media—painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital, installation, video—to submit works that portray or interpret the human head, including partial or multiple heads. Entries must be 18 years or older, and can be submitted in any media. The exhibition runs from October 8 to October 31, 2026, and selected works will be displayed in the gallery and online. Artists may choose to sell their works; the gallery will take a 35% commission on sales. The entry fee is $35.00 for up to four artworks, with an additional $5.00 for each extra piece. Submissions are made via email with JPG images or video links, and payment is processed through PayPal or other accepted methods. Acceptance notifications will be sent by August 31, 2026, via email or postal mail.
