عن هذه الفرصة

NY20+ is an art promotion organization under Nongyuan Culture, located in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. Since 2008 it has run an International Artist Residency Program that welcomes creators from all disciplines – visual artists, designers, art students, craftspersons and collectives – regardless of nationality, age or career stage. Applicants submit a CV, a portfolio of up to ten images with a brief statement, a project plan and a completed residency application form (available in English and Chinese). All documents must be sent in both English and Chinese to ny20@cdnongyuan.com.

The residency is fully funded by NY20+: participants receive a private or shared studio/workspace, furnished private or shared bedrooms, three daily meals, basic art materials and a limited production budget that can be negotiated according to the project plan. Technical assistance, exhibition promotion (including a dedicated web‑page), workshops, group exhibitions, seminars and lectures are also part of the programme. Artists are responsible for their own travel costs and any personal expenses beyond the provided support.

There is no fixed application deadline; the call is open on a rolling basis and applications are reviewed continuously. The minimum stay is seven days, with the length of residence flexible according to the artist’s project. NY20+ aims to foster cross‑cultural exchange and to create a vibrant international art ecology in Chengdu. For more details, download the Residency Handbook, the Open Call PDF and the Application Form from the official NY20+ website.
