Rainbow Giving Australia, in partnership with Pride Foundation Australia and Wear it Purple, is launching its 2027 Ignite Pride Grants. The program provides one‑off funding of $5,000 to $20,000 to local or place‑based organisations, groups or projects that are led by and serve LGBTQIA+ people in Australia. Grants are awarded through a two‑stage process: an Expression of Interest (EOI) open from 29 June 2026 to 3 August 2026, followed by a full proposal stage for shortlisted applicants. The Queer Futures Fund, a related stream, supports arts, culture and community projects led by LGBTQIA+SB youth aged 18‑26, with grants up to $20,000. Eligibility requires ACNC registration (or auspice) for Ignite Pride, and for Queer Futures, an ABN and, if an individual, a TFN. Funding can cover project costs, operational expenses, staff salaries, equipment, professional development, venue hire and more. Optional capacity‑building support is also available. Applications are reviewed by a Community Assessment Panel, and successful applicants receive funding and ongoing support. The program is open to Australian‑based applicants and is part of Rainbow Giving Australia’s annual collaborative grant round.
